Do you play violin but would like to learn fiddle style?  Maybe you'd like to transfer those fingerings to a mandolin.  Or perhaps you have a ukulele that you’d like to learn how to play.  Banjo?  Harmonica?  Recorder?  Celtic Harp?  Here at Blue Sky Music Studios, we also offer lessons on most instruments including ukulele, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, recorder, harmonica, Celtic harp and sitar, among others.  If we don’t have a teacher for you, we can most likely refer you to one.  Whatever your goal, we will do our best to assist you in obtaining it!

We enjoy helping others!  Whether a beginner learning their first note, an advanced student shooting for that next level or an adult revisiting an old passion, we’re here to help you along.  We teach music lessons to children as young as 4 years old right up to retired adults.

So you want to learn harmonica, but is your goal to play Celtic harmonica or distorted blues harp in the style of Paul Butterfield?  Or would you like to play your favorite songs on ukulele the way that Jake Shimabukuro does, or mandolin more in the style of Chris Thile?  Of course everyone has to learn the basics such as technique, reading, and theory, but how far will you go if you become disinterested because you’re exclusively working on music that bores you?  Our instructors will work with you to get you where you want to go, focusing on giving you both a solid foundation and applying what you learn to the style of music that you prefer and enjoy.
