There are lots of excellent things about Blue Sky studios.  One of its best nuggets is Bernie Mulleda.  Bernie cannot only play a mean guitar, but can teach it, and can also fix it.  Or set it up if you’ve got something new and need to get it where it is just right for you.

Bernie has done this for a bunch of my guitars and basses over the years, doing a very nice re-wiring & neck straightening job on my ’73 Fender P-bass.  When one of the pickups on my Eastwood Airline needed replacement Bernie took on the job and made sure the replacement hardware was up to snuff.  It is also comforting to know that Bernie knows his guitars, all the makes and models.  He can spot a knock-off of a Mosrite when he sees one.

Having someone at the studio who can address your guitar hardware needs can keep you from sending your axe back to the manufacturer or hiking elsewhere and waiting much, much longer for your baby to get into the pipeline and back into your hands.  It is great having Bernie right there at Blue Sky, an excellent match.
