Music Therapy Sessions

Music Therapy Sessions

Music Speaks, a private music therapy practice in the Capital Region, is excited to be offering private music therapy sessions at Blue Sky Music Studios to families with children with special needs.  Through activities like instrument play and movement, music therapy can be used to improve behavioral health, academic skills, cognition, motor functioning, social skills, and communication.

Our Music Therapists are credentialed professionals using clinical music interventions to accomplish non-musical individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship.  Feel free to contact us for more details.

I bring my student to music therapy sessions at the studio. The therapist is a wonderful, delightful person. She works great with my student. Very hands on!

Our son enjoys his sessions very much. His therapist is great and goes above and beyond to ensure he has productive sessions.

Music therapy has not only given our child a greater appreciation for all types of music; it has also given him useful coping mechanisms, a love of playing instruments and an introduction to fun new musical apps to use on his iPad.
